Welcome to Racked Vegas' search for Las Vegas' hottest trainer. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile eight smoking locals—fitness experts who not only look hot in Spandex, but can make you look amazing too. Once you've gotten to know everyone, we'll host a March Madness-style showdown in which readers vote for their favorites. Let the games begin!

Meet Sandy Scamman, a personal trainer who works out of Las Vegas Athletic Club in the southwest. She specializes in helping people reduce body fat while maintaining muscle.  

She's also a fitness model, competing since 2006. "Being a fitness model isn't really exciting," she says. "There are months of preparation working out and dieting and consistent adherence to a rigid workout and diet. The resulting photographs I treasure and am very proud of."

Scamman has a battery of competitive wins including being named the Nevada State Figure Overall Champion in 2009, first place in the San Diego Figure Open and more.

While her favorite cheat is chocolate, her love of fitness may have started in grade school when her gym teacher held her feet during a sit up contest. "I had a crush on my gym teacher," she confesses. And she did win.
