Downtown Las Vegas is about to get one of the city's favorite vintage and used clothing stores when Buffalo Exchange pulls up stakes from its 20-year-old store near UNLV and heads to Main Street.
The move, expected to take place this fall, includes a new look for the store. Buffalo Exchange marketing director Stephanie Lew says the store will replicate some of the new locations in California. "This Vegas one, we're really emphasizing the roots of vintage, and it's very industrial. We're showing off the brick and open beams — the architecture of the building," she tells Las Vegas Weekly.
Vintage slot machines and casino pieces will decorate the space while the many of the same items of clothing, accessories and shoes will remain.
Expect the Maryland Parkway location to shutter once the Main Street store opens.
