Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Downtown Vegas now has a boutique flower shop offering up more than just pretty bouquets. The 750-square-foot Bud & Vine just opened in the John E. Carson Hotel building from Christina Cicatello and John Bunch.

Among the offerings, an apothecary and candle section along with a curated selection of gifts and home items such as stationery and candle holders.

Head down there on First Fridays (hey, that's tonight) for flower arranging classes taught by Cicatello. The monthly Flower to the People lessons cover topics such as macramé and patio gardening. Students only pay for the cost of flowers. Tonight's lesson? How to create flower crowns.

The store is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays.
