A short 45 minutes from Las Vegas on the border of Nevada and California sits Primm with its three casinos, and more importantly, the Fashion Outlets of Las Vegas. Here find more than 100 stores offering up to 75 percent off, all indoors, all air conditioned.
The entire outlet center is connected to Primm Valley Resort & Casino, just in case you decide to spend the night, do some gambling or ride the Desperado, the wood roller coaster that attracts families and thrill seekers alike.
Among some of the most notable stores in the mall: Ann Taylor, BCBG, Banana Republic, Calvin Klein, DKNY, Kate Spade New York, Kenneth Cole, Lululemon, Michael Kors and perhaps most notably, Neiman Marcus Last Call. Here you can often nab discounts on Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo shoes as well as designer labels including Marni, Yves St. Laurent, Dries van Noten, Chanel and Marc by Marc Jacobs.
For kitchenware, look for Le Creuset and Williams-Sonoma Marketplace, the only outlet for the brand on the West Coast and one of the largest stores in the shopping center.
Most people spend between four and six hours at the outlet center, and a shuttle service will even get you there roundtrip for $15. It picks up from LVH, Fashion Show mall, the Venetian, Miracle Mile Shops and the Tropicana. Bonus, you get something called a Green Savings Card with more than $800 in savings.
Do keep in mind that unlike Vegas, the Fashion Outlets close at 8 p.m. every night.
