Say goodbye to those unwanted bumps and bulges. Spanx, the shapewear company, is wrapping up construction on its first stand-alone outpost in Las Vegas. Look for a 1,374-square-foot boutique undergoing a $250,000 renovation between Rockport and Vince Camuto at Fashion Show.
Spanx plans five new stores, including locations at Santa Monica Place, The Mall at Short Hills and Natick Mall outside Boston to join the six existing locations nationwide plus two in airports. The first Spanx store opened in 2012 in Tysons Corner in McLean, Va.
Expect this location to carry all of the brand's 200-plus items as well as activewear such as yoga pants, shorts and skirts, bras and shapers. Also on the agenda, Manx, also known as man-Spanx.
