Brazilian pop artist Romero Britto will be honored with the Dom Pérignon Award of Excellence at Bubble-Licious, part of the 40th anniversary of UNLVino, on Friday on the Doge's Palace at the Venetian. The artist has spent the past 14 years creating commemorative paintings for UNLVino.
Jeweled clutches go for $1,400, silk scarves for $60, watches are $30 and Britto Disney figurines range from $65 to $75.
Now fans can pick up some of his art during the event at a pop-up shop, and Britto will donate 20 percent of the proceeds from to the UNLVino Scholarship Fund. Can't attend Bubble-Licious? Britto has a pop-up shop inside the Venetian from April 9-30.
