Street dreams are made of this. Rapper Nas and his business partner Nick Sakai hold the keys to the next retail project opening at The Linq — their pumped up kicks store 12 A.M. Run. Street-style paper covered the front of the sneaker store up until this weekend, but inside, the store is getting ever closer to opening with a mezzanine level and a deejay booth in addition to crazy collaborations.

"It's fun taking things that we are both passionate about, which is sneakers, and putting it on a big stage," Sakai tells Complex.

The store got its name (just call it midnight run) because, "To me, 12 a.m. sounds like go time in Las Vegas. Run, that's athletics, feet, sneakers, movement. You hit the ground running here in Vegas," Nas says.

The duo plans to get the rap community involved with collaborations. "I want everyone involved. I want the Yeezys, the Snoop Lion sneakers. We need collaborations. This should be a Mecca for everything to happen in sneaker culture. I want Michael Jordan to throw his next party there," Nas says.

Already Sakai says the store put together a calendar to introduce a new collaboration every month. So far, he says Hundreds, Floyd Mayweather and Mitchell & Ness are working with 12 A.M. Run.

Still no opening date has been announced, but based on the photos, it looks about two weeks out.
