The End of the Line for EDM Fashion Boutiques?

Where, oh where can a girl shop for EDM gear such as embellished bras, tutus and fluffy boots? Better Than New, the boutique that specializes in light up clothing, flower-embellished tops and rave wear, shuttered on Feb. 11. Their Facebook page notes that, "Due to unforeseen circumstances Better Than New Lifestyle Boutique will be closed as of today," but promises that they are "regrouping for the next couple weeks and will be coming back 'Better' than ever." No word yet on a new location.

Vavoom Girly Boutique across from the Hard Rock Hotel is up for sale. The owners are ready to retire from the business that stocks supplies for go go dancers, Electric Daisy Carnival goers and showgirls. For a mere $229,000, the buyer lands the furniture and fixtures as well as the inventory. The owners will stay on for three weeks, training for 40 hours a week. For now, the boutique remains open.
