One Kate Spade Closes While a New One Is Announced

Respect Your Universe, the athletic apparel store with ties to the UFC, only lasted about 18 months at the Grand Canal Shoppes. Now with RYU closed, in walks a new tenant that's very familiar. Kate Spade is planning a 1,499-square-foot store in the space between Michael Kors and Seven for All Mankind. An estimated $404,730 is being spent on construction.

Also of note, Kate Spade closed at the Forum Shops at Caesars next to Juicy Couture. In December, Authentic Brands Group (ABG) bought out Juicy Couture and announced that Kohl's would be the sole seller of the brand while all Juicy Couture stores would become Kate Spade boutiques. Developing.
