Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana just revamped at Aria, so what better way to spend a Perfect Saturday than to do some shopping, relaxing and dining before heading to the new show? Here, a look at five ways to explore Aria and the Shops at Crystals before the show in our weekly feature Perfect Saturday.
Start your Saturday with a treatment at the Spa at Aria. You can just relax near the illuminated wall of Shio salt bricks, complemented by salt lamps, vibration therapy and radiant music for a soothing therapy that will leave you breathing deeply. Or try the Red Carpet Facial ($110 for 25 minutes to $295 for 80 minutes) with its blend of amino acids to exfoliate your skin and leave you with a glow.
Dolce & Gabbana at the Shops at Crystals has the Pretty in Pastels collection that comes straight off the runway and into the only Dolce & Gabbana in Las Vegas. Check out this "royal-inspired" collection.
Head over to Gucci at the Shops at Crystals to check out this exclusive Gucci bamboo tote made from python bag with bamboo handles. This handbag was created exclusively for the U.S. market with a natural cotton linen lining, light fine gold hardware, detachable and adjustable leather shoulder strap and protective metal feet for $2,900.
Now Gold Lounge serves up a meal before Zarkana. Guests can enjoy two specialty drinks and two signature entrees, priced at $40. Try chef Brian Massie's famous Bobby Baldwin Burgers coupled with a Berry Kana, or a pairing of Very Adult Mac & Cheese with a Royalty. Gold serves up the special dinner from 5 to 10 p.m.
Cirque du Soleil's Zarkana revamped the show with new acts and a remastered soundtrack. One of the new acts includes aerialists Andrew and Kevin Atherton. Look for acrobats, jugglers, high wire and trapeze artists. Performances are held Friday through Tuesday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Tickets start at $69 can be purchased by calling 702-531-3800 or 855-ZARKANA. Tickets also can be purchased online at cirquedusoleil.com or aria.com or by visiting any MGM Resorts ticket office.
