Today, Jessica Sayles, a principal at accounting firm Houldsworth, Russo & Company, P.C, gives us a glimpse of what she carries in her handbag. Here, she carries a Michael Kors tote. Find out what's inside following the jump.

What kind of handbag?
Michael Kors

What does your handbag say about you?
I think my handbag is practical, classy and a little sparkly — words I like to describe myself!

What's the most important thing in your handbag?
My cell phone. I use it as my calendar, budget planner, food tracker, birthday reminder, contact list, address book, entertainment, camera — everything! I feel lost without it.

How about the most surprising thing?
I have a bit of an obsession with rewards cards from stores. I actually carry a separate wallet inside my handbag just to handle all my rewards cards because there are now too many for my regular wallet!

What was the first handbag you carried that was memorable?
When I first started at HRC, I wanted a professional handbag to go with my new professional job. I bought a Coach handbag that I fell in love with and carried for years. It became the standard for all other handbags since!

Name eight items in your handbag and why you must carry them:
Pens — you would be surprised at the number of times a good pen comes in handy.

2. Business cards — I really enjoy meeting new people, and giving/obtaining business cards is my way to track the people I'm meeting.

3. Chapstick —  I love a good lip gloss, but my lips need something more to combat the summer heat and the dry winters.

4. Cell phone — for reasons listed above.

5. Sunglasses — I always buy cheap sunglasses because I never have enough room to carry a big sunglasses case with me. When I throw them in my purse, I don't want to feel too bad if I scratch them up or break them.

6. Wallet — I carry all the usual cards, plus some of my frequently used rewards cards in my wallet.

7. Rewards card wallet — to make sure I never miss out on any deals…ever.

8. Yellow notepad — I'm always on the go, either meeting with clients or friends. I like to jot down little notes and to-do lists for myself so I don't forget anything!
