You already saw Jeff Timmons, the singer from 98 Degrees, make his moves in Chippendales when he was the guest host in 2011. Now the hotty is getting ready for the next role of his life in his new reality show Men of the Strip, debuting on E! this summer.
What's more important, the amount of skin Simmons shows or the trials and tribulations of a male revue? Either way, Simmons is ready to show a 12-pack. He tells People magazine that he's been working hard to keep in shape by working out four days a week with free weights and P90X as well as yoga. For food, he's been sticking to a low carb and protein diet. "It's kind of a boring, bland diet," he tells People. "I like sweets, so I can't eat any of them. If I have a bite, it becomes a gallon of ice cream, or an entire cake, or a dozen donuts."
The 40-year-old Timmons also admits to manscaping, but says he won't wax. "I shave my chest; I'm too much of a chicken to wax it! I make sure that everything is neatly trimmed."
Timmons did a three-month search all over the country to find the dancers for the show. Then a 42-date promotional tour hypes the 90-minute movie coming out Memorial Day weekend. After that, a Las Vegas residency at an undisclosed resort kicks off.
