Peter Pilotto for Target dropped on Sunday, and Racked Vegas was on hand to see the grabbing, armloads of clothes and popular finds scooped up by shoppers at the Target at Boca Park.
About seven people waited in front of the store before the doors opened Sunday morning, with another 20 racing from their cars to the store just as the doors were unlocked. Inside, it was a typical madcap scene with people grabbing for multiple sizes of one style and claiming items in their carts. Dresses and jackets took top billing as the most coveted items, while most ignored the swimsuits, beach towels and sunglasses. By 8:30 a.m., many had started trying on their finds as Target employees restocked totes from the back.
One woman admitted that she took all the larges and extra larges in most styles to see which would fit her best. Another woman with one arm in a sling guarded her friend's cart as she scooped up looks.
Jackets and dresses were in short supply by the time Racked Vegas left at 9 a.m., but still a good selection of items remain. Stay tuned for updates on what's left. In the meantime, feel free to share your Sunday morning shopping experience at Peter Pilotto in the comments.
