Fans of very limited-edition sneakers and hard to find street-wear take note. During the recent AGENDA Emerge trade show in Long Beach, the rapper, actor and now retailer Nasir Jones aka Nas revealed the opening date of his under-construction store at The Linq, named 12 A.M.Run aka "Midnight Run."
Joining the premiere date of the Yard House restaurant, 12 A.M.RUN will open on Feb. 28, part of the second phase of new retailers. Kitson recently announced it will open its largest ever store later in the year. The retail and entertainment promenade leads off the Strip to the High Roller observation wheel, also expected to debut within weeks.
12 A.M.Run was created in conjunction with Nick Sakai, who runs CRSVR at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. The space will feature a built-in DJ booth, host live events, fill the 30-foot-high ceilings with art exhibits and is building a VIP mezzanine for its rarest items.
Already scheduled for the store, pieces from Primitive Apparel, Nas' own HSTRY clothing line, Young & Reckless and Diamond Supply. Announced kicks include Asics, Puma Disc Blaze and naturally, retro Air Jordans.
In addition to name branded T-shirts, Nas has frequently been modelling their custom Starter snapback cap, which will be sold in black, red and gray.
