Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Racked Vegas is excited to be joining the Racked National family of sites, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Boston, Philly and also launching today D.C.
So here's a little about me, the editor of Racked Vegas, Susan Stapleton. You may already know me as the editor of Eater Vegas, which I launched a year and a half ago and will continue to run. I'm a freelance writer based in Viva Las Vegas and I've been writing for publications such as Haute Living, Vegas Magazine, Las Vegas Magazine and more. I moved to Vegas more than seven years ago from Philadelphia, where I was the editor-in-chief of Philadelphia Style and D.C. Style magazines. Fashion originally brought me to Vegas, where I started my career here as the fashion editor of the now-defunct Image section in the Las Vegas Review-Journal for two years.
While we want Racked Vegas to be your one-stop shop for all things fashion, shopping and style in this wonderful city, we won't be able to do it without you, the faithful readers: reader input, comments, rants and raves are our lifeblood. So whether you're friends with someone who works at this, that or the other boutique and heard that Diane von Furstenberg or Tom Ford is coming to Vegas or you just saw a ridiculously fabulous outfit at your neighborhood shopping mall — or anything else — let us know. New boutiques, fabulous sales and more are all in our wheelhouse. Nothing is too small or too weird. We love it all.
Meanwhile, Racked Vegas will be bringing you all the news on boutique openings, closings and other happenings while also rounding up the best of the local fashion media, independent blogs and national scoops. But please do not hesitate to hit up our tipline — vegas@racked.com — if you come across anything you think we want to know. And be sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook.
Help us help you. It's going to be a hoot.
