As 2013 draws to a close, we're surveying our friends in the fashion industry about the year's biggest news stories and most exciting developments. Earlier we look at the best stores, top newcomer of the year, fashion in Vegas summed up in one word and biggest fashion surprises of the year. Now, the best fashion purchase of the year. Readers, let us know what you think in the comments.
Q: What was your best fashion purchase of 2013?
Christie Moeller, I Can Style U: My best purchase in 2013 was a pair of Chloe wood wedges that I got for a ridiculous steal! #lovethem
Laura Coronado, LollieShopping: 1980s vintage deadstock (meaning never sold, never worn) sunglasses purchased from Electric Lemonade Shop at Neon Bazaar.
Christa Emmer, Beauty Guru Las Vegas: A pair of riding boots. We said goodbye to Uggs and hello to sleek elegance. If you haven't already pick yourself up a pair slim-fitted riding boots available in tons of colors.
Susan Stapleton, Racked Vegas: A Danielle Nicole Colette hobo from Coterie. I get so many compliments on it. I also got a raccoon tail (don't worry, it's fake) to go with it. Those in the know think it's cool. Others think it's a cat in my bag.
