Q: What was the biggest fashion surprise of 2013?

Christa Emmer, Beauty Guru Las Vegas: The mix of romantic styling with metal and leather. In beauty, a bold lip combined with natural eyes and foundation.

Christie Moeller, I Can Style U: Beanies, they were everywhere on every runway! Mixed with flirty feminine pieces, evening attire and inspiring a variety of new ways to wear them! Who would have thought!

Laura Coronado, LollieShopping: Container Park actually opening.

Susan Stapleton, Racked Vegas: The surprising number of tiny boutiques opening in Vegas, from the Boutiqueaholics and American Vagabond in the Container Park to Annie Creamcheese moving into smaller space inside the Market LV at Tivoli Village. Givenchy announcing plans to open at Wynn Las Vegas. Take that, fashion world. The James Turrell Gansfeld exhibit inside Louis Vuitton at the Shops at Crystals.
