Las Vegas has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems — those unique stores around Las Vegas that we might not all know about. Welcome to Shopping Confidential. Fashion savvy and want to share your favorite local boutique? Drop us a line and tell us why you should be featured.
Alana Litavis spends her days at the director of advertising for the Palms. The fashionable Litavis loves to pair high-end with low-end to create her looks. Here, she shares one of her favorite places to shop for more casual looks.
I shop everywhere, literally. I have been known to rock accessories from the kids' department at Target with my Givenchy bag on my arm and a pair of heelless platforms. Vegas has one of everything these days so I tend to rely on Zara, American Apparel or Top Shop for a piece that will complement some crazy thing I found while shopping online, I am a huge fan of Karmaloop, ASOS and Nasty Gal.
When it comes to my casual style, I have always been a fan of streetwear. I like to wear things that shock people and mix and match. KNYEW Boutique here in Vegas is the best place to add to my collection. They carry lines like Joyrich, Crooks and Castles and Married to the Mob. I love their hats and T-shirts and KNYEWs' selection is one of the best in Vegas.
