A new vintage boutique celebrates the 1950s with the rockabilly flare of pinup models and tough guys. Amber Burkhart just opened Amberjoy's Vintage Closet in Downtown Vegas replete with finds from thrift stores and garage and estate sales.
Look for pieces such as a dark purple housecoat that perhaps Lucille Ball would have worn, waitress uniforms straight out of the '50s and more. Burkhart plans to release her own line of rockabilly clothes for men and women in the near future, so expect to find wedding dresses and crinolines among the goods.
Burkhart also plans to offer clothes on consignment as well as a pin-up photography studio, burlesque classes, beauty classes showcasing how to style hair and more.
