The Rock 'n' Roll Las Vegas Marathon runs through town on Sunday afternoon, and with it comes pre- and post-run events including stretching the day before and relaxing after that 26.2-mile trek. Here now, a look at some of the ways runners can partake.
VDARA — The Official Rock 'n' Roll Pre-Race Yoga Session takes place on Saturday at 11 a.m. with a one-hour Vinyasa Flow yoga class that is tailored for runners but open to all fitness levels. Healthy snacks and refreshments will be available along with live music. RSVP here. [Racked InBox]
BELLAGIO — Spa Bellagio will stay open until midnight Sunday night so competitors can head straight to the massage room or wet areas to begin the recovery. Racers can benefit from a 50-minute Marathon Custom Massage ($160), a personalized session that combines pressure and technique, or a 20-minute Mini-Marathon Refresher Massage ($85) which focuses only on the areas that need rejuvenation. The 80-minute Athlete Revival ($250) is a custom sports treatment that combines stretching and massage to all major muscle groups followed by a Cryoderm gel application that soothes and calms tissue. MIRAGE — The Mirage Spa will feature special treatments for marathon participants on Saturday through Sunday. The Runner's Relief Pedicure ($80) soothes tired soles with a ginger salt soak while the Glute Fatigue Massage ($80 for 25 minutes or $130 for 50 minutes) stretches and targets exhausted extremities.
