How Italy's Brunello Cucinelli Fits in the Vegas Market

Brunello Cucinelli says his eponymous boutique at The Shops at Crystals is easily one of the top stores in his 80-boutique empire. "In Las Vegas the multi-ethnicity of our customers is very high, because they're coming there from all over the world," he tells Vegas Magazine. "What they have in common is a desire for luxury and handcraft. And in addition to feeling very international, it's also a resort city with a sporty-chic kind of taste, and that fits very well into what we do." The boutique opened in 2009, and now sells in more than 1,000 retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus.
