Where Charissa Davidovici Finds a Sweet Spot in Vegas

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Las Vegas has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems — those unique stores around Las Vegas that we might not all know about. Welcome to Shopping Confidential.

Charissa Davidovici founded the sugary sweet Sugar Factory with its collection of celebrity-endorsed Couture Pops. This year, the company seems to be taking over the world with new outlets opening in Hollywood and San Diego joining a new restaurant and candy emporium coming to Town Square and her first East Coast foray in the Meatpacking District in New York City. Even though her jet-setting life keeps her in the air, she still finds time to shop in Las Vegas. Here, two of her favorite Vegas boutiques.

My favorite local boutique is C Level, located in the Boca Park shopping center. They always have items that I can't find anywhere else in Las Vegas, which I love! Their selection of summer dresses is my favorite.
If I am in need of a custom piece though, I always go to my favorite local fashion designer, who is the owner of Etti Gear. This designer creates the most beautiful pieces for any type of event I may have to attend. My favorite piece from Etti Gear is a one-of-a-kind jacket with ornate beading and lace material that looks amazing with leggings!
